Thank you Village Staff!

Hello Village Residents,

As we head into the new year, I want to thank our Village staff.

Gilbertsville is small, but our responsibilities aren’t. We still have the same core reporting, compliance, and service obligations as much larger communities—and here, a small team of dedicated part-time staff keeps it all running safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Bernie, our Clerk-Treasurer, is the steady hand behind the scenes—keeping our records straight, our meetings and notices on track, and maintaining the Village’s finances so we stay accountable, compliant, and careful with your tax dollars.

Ashley, our Deputy Clerk, supports water billing and payments and helps with front-office needs.

Greg, our Department of Public Works (DPW), keeps essential operations moving—from water system needs and repairs to winter storms, roads, and ongoing maintenance.

Kitty, our Water Operator, handles daily checks and required reporting that support safe water service.

And Kelly helps keep our public spaces clean, safe, and cared for.

If you see a staff member, please take a moment to say “thank you.” A little appreciation goes a long way.

I also thank the Village Board of Trustees for their public service and time throughout the year.
