2025 Leaf Pickup

Starting Friday, 10/03/2025, the Village crew will begin weekly curbside leaf pickup using the leaf-vacuum truck. Please rake loose leaves to the curb (edge of lawn)—not into the street. No bags. Remove sticks, branches, rocks, and trash. Keep piles clear of storm drains, hydrants, mailboxes, sidewalks, and parked cars. Set piles out by 7:00 a.m. on pickup days. Weather and equipment may shift routes.

How Pickup Works

  • Loose leaves only (no bags).

  • Set out by 7:00 a.m. on pickup days.

  • Place piles at the curb/edge of lawn, not in the roadway.

  • Keep 3 ft clear of storm drains, hydrants, mailboxes, sidewalks, and parked cars.

  • Remove contaminants: sticks/branches, stones, trash, pet waste, dirt.

What Not To Do

  • Don’t put leaves in the street—they block drainage and create hazards.

  • Don’t include sticks/branches (they jam the vacuum) or bagged leaves.

  • Don’t cover utility lids or block sidewalks/drive lanes.

Schedule & Routes

  • First pass: Friday, 10/03/2025.

  • Thereafter: weekly rounds through the season, weather permitting.

  • Routes may change based on volume and conditions.

  • We will return on the next pass.

  • Please keep piles neat, loose, and reachable from the curb.
